ITS
HISTORY
Christmas on the hill was inaugurated in 2013, by Tim Iqbal, marking the beginning of a cherished tradition. Hon. Jason Kenny graciously hosted the first event at the parliament hill, where approximately 125 individuals gathered, despite the short notice, to partake in the festive celebrations. The overwhelming enthusiasm and encouragement of those who attended played a pivotal role in the decision to establish Christmas on the Hill as an annual affair. Since that memorable first gathering, the event has been eagerly anticipated and has continued to thrive, becoming a staple of early December festivities.
